Meet at the grass area adjacent to Lewknor High Street, OX49 5TW, just past the pub, where there is roadside parking. Lewknor is located at a turn off from the B4009, near J6 of the M40. Pub lunch (with limited parking) is available at the well-regarded The Leathern Bottle. 

 A 5.75 mile walk with no stiles, which takes us along part of The Ridgeway, which could be muddy, before climbing the Chiltern Escarpment to Aston Wood, where hopefully the bluebells will be out, as we walk through to the Talking Trail, which will take us to Beacon Hill viewpoint, before descending back to the village.
