The Planning Group considers applications for development and responds to these where appropriate. It also considers governmental and local authority consultation papers and plans likely to affect the Chilterns’ environment in any way. This work is done by members acting as Planning Field Officers (PFOs), by the Planning Coordinator’s team meetings, and by members with expertise in a variety of relevant fields acting as Advisers.
Please phone the Society Office on 01494 771250 for other contact information.
Occasionally, the Planning Group has vacancies for PFOs as indicated by the word ‘Vacant’ below. If you are willing to help in monitoring planning applications and influencing local planning policies where a vacancy exists, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator.
