Meet at The Red Lion, 13 Harlington Road, Upper Sundon, LU3 3PE.
A 5.5 mile walk to Sharpenhoe Clappers, an Iron Age wooded hill fort, via Sundon Hills Country Park and its ridge walk with outstanding downland and woodland views. Return along the foot of the scarp slope before rejoining the outward route. No stiles, but uneven flight of 120 steps down and 80 steps up. Total ascent 316ft.
