Meet at Parkfield Sports Ground car park, off B651 Hitchin Road, Kimpton (north of Wheathampstead), SG4 8RR.
A 5.6 mile walk through a varied landscape including the Hoo Estate bluebell woods, Ayot St Lawrence village, George Bernard Shaw’s house, and several interesting churches. One stile, no steep hills, and total ascent of 400ft. Walk 4 in More Great Walks book.
The nearby Boot PH located in village is available for lunch.
