Organised Walks – Henton, Oxon

Starting at the Peacock Country Inn, Henton (near Chinnor), OX39 4AH.
Parking in the Inn car park for those lunching, or street parking nearby. As well as the online menu, the pub is also offering a good selection of sandwiches.
The walk of 6 miles starts from the settlement of Henton across undulating countryside, before a gentle ascent up to the Chinnor Nature reserve passing by Bledlow Cross, before descending into Bledlow village, and across country via Skittle Green back to the start.
Fine views across the Chilterns and Vale of Aylesbury with total elevation of c. 575ft.
For Groovers a shorter route is available that avoids the full ascent to the nature reserve, whilst still offering the excellent views.
