Meet on Harpenden common in the car park adjacent to the cricket pavilion, off the A1081 St Albans Road, AL5 2JF.
A 5.5 mile walk through Rothamstead park, the agricultural research estate, and onwards to the Chiltern Way. Then down to the River Ver to Redbourn returning via the disused railway Nicky Line passing the C17th Rothampstead Manor House.
