Organised Walks – Hailey, Oxon

Meet at the overflow car park to the William IV pub at the hamlet of Hailey (nr. Ipsden), OX10 6AD. Lunch available at the pub afterwards.
A 5.5 mile stile-free walk that takes in several woodlands linked by stretches of open downland affording good views. From Hailey we head north to Wicks Wood and then east to Mongewell Woods. Turning south we drop down to Urquhart Lane bridleway taking us to Well Place, before a steep climb back to the pub. Total ascent of 210m / 700ft.
