Organised Walks – Fingest, Bucks

Meet outside St Bartholomew’s Church, Chequers Lane, Fingest, RG9 6QD. If booked for lunch at the Chequers Inn (adjacent to the church) then park in the large pub car park, otherwise limited roadside parking along Chequers Lane.
A walk of c. 5 miles in the beautiful Upper Hambleden Valley area, offering wonderful views and scenery. The walk traverses 3 valleys through chalk meadows, woodland and sheep pastures, taking in 3 peaceful villages with old churches and a windmill. 3 valleys also means 3 steepish ups and downs with a total ascent of c. 800ft.
