Organised Walks – Cowleaze Wood, Oxon/Bucks

Meet at the northern end of Cowleaze Wood large free car park (turn left after entering), Christmas Common Road, (nearest post code) OX49 5HX.
A scenic 5-mile walk with two significant hills and 900 feet of elevation in total. Initially descending to Lower Vicars Farm and then over the M40 and up towards Beacon Hill. Returning back along the Ridgeway for a short distance before heading back up via the Aston Rowant Nature Reserve. Fine views are guaranteed, and no stiles.
The Fox and Hounds PH at Christmas Common is close-by for lunch.
