Chesham Vale, Bucks (5 Mar)

Meet at the Black Horse Inn, Chesham Vale, HP5 3NS (although the pub has sadly recently closed for business, we have kindly been given permission to still use the pub car park for the walk).

An easy walk of 5.8 miles with two gentle climbs and one steep descent with a total ascent of 500 feet.  The walk, on the way to Hawridge, Bellingdon and back, takes in ancient field patterns and hedges, old earthworks, passes the home of a famous author, and through the Chiltern Society-managed Captains Wood.
