Park and meet at the car park opposite Checkendon Primary School, Uxmore Road, RG8 0SR 

A delightful, gentle 5.5 mile walk without stiles mainly through woodland to see early spring flowers and maybe bluebells.  Heading off east towards Ipsden Wood and over to Stoke Row, through some delightful woodland, where, if the bluebells are out, we may be dazed by their display.  We continue in woodland through Brasiers Common and then Checkendon Court.   

For lunch the Highwayman Inn at nearby Exlade Street is well regarded, as well as pubs in Stoke Row.
