Organised Walks – Aston Rowant, Oxon

Meet at St Peter’s and St Paul’s Church The Green, Aston Rowant, OX49 5SW (near J6 of the M40). Parking on the left side of the road just after the church.

A leisurely 5.3 mile walk along the Aston Rowant Discovery Trail. From the 11C church the stile-free walk passes along the NT Juniper Bank to Aston Wood and Aston Rowant Nature Reserve, with fine views to 3 sides from Beacon Hill, then back via The Ridgeway. One steady climb.

Lunch / refreshments afterwards at the nearby Leathern Bottle PH in Lewknor (no bookings taken).
