“Making a Killing” Talk by Chiltern Crime Writer, Sherry Hostler

28 September, 2023 at 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm

£5 Adult

Sherry Hostler is a British crime writer and the author of the best selling psychological thriller ‘Hypnotic’. She will be talking about how she managed to Make Crime Pay!

Don’t worry, her talk won’t be about how she robbed the local branch of Barclays and buried the proceeds in a field in Pitstone, only to be dug up years later and squandered on fast cars and expensive jewellery.  Although that is a good idea…for a book.

Instead she will be letting us in on the secrets of what it’s really like to be a writer, and revealing the reasons why so many of us are fascinated by crime.  Also, for those who have always fancied putting pen to paper she will be divulging the secrets of how to write well in the crime genre.

Oh, and if you’ve ever wondered if you can be hypnotised to commit murder, then this is definitely the talk for you.

Sherry’s award winning short fiction and non-fiction articles have been featured in Writers Forum magazine, Hertfordshire Life, Vale Life, Dogs Monthly and various Cake magazines, and her second novel is due to hit the shelves soon.

Soft drink included.
