Chiltern Open Air Museum – Private Garden Tour (Thur 22nd Sept, 2.30pm-4.30pm)
22 September at 2:30 pm until 4:30 pm£15.00
Join this private tour of the Chiltern Open Air Museum (COAM).
There are four distinct gardens at COAM and one vegetable garden/’dig for victory’ allotment. They all have a slightly different character intended to reflect the building they are adjacent to, from a Gertrude Jekyll inspired garden for Astleham Manor cottage to a herb garden around the High Wycombe Toll House. In addition they have a cherry orchard and an apple orchard both planted with a range of traditional local varieties. There is plenty to observe and discuss.
A tea, coffee and a slice of cake will be served on arrival and is included in the price.
All events will comply with government guidelines on Covid-19, applicable at the time. If any Covid-19 outbreaks occur, or new restrictions are imposed, the event will be cancelled and a full refund given.
