Organised Walks – Chenies, Bucks

Meet on the grass bank opposite the Red Lion PH, Village Road in Chenies village, WD3 6ED. Park along the roadside near the Red Lion.

A c.6.0 mile undulating walk down to the Chess river, then across the valley and up to Sarratt and the charming village of Flaunden, mainly on The Chiltern Way. On the valley return the route passes Mill Farm and the historic Chenies Manor. A nice mixture of woodland, open fields, and fine views. Two short sections of quiet road walking. Three stiles, two hills – one steep – and total ascent of 480ft.
