Adults and Children – Free
As in previous years we will come together at the beautiful Grade I listed St Mary’s Church, set over the bank of the Wendover Canal. Last year we planted a rowan tree on the drive to the church to commemorate the fifth Heritage Festival. This year we will be joined by the Wendover Canal Trust whose volunteers work tirelessly to restore the canal, maintain the tow path and environs which are an important feature within the Chilterns area. Together with our own volunteers and supporters we will enjoy readings, music, cider and cake to round off the 2023 Heritage and Culture Festival.
This is a free event, but donations towards the upkeep of the church will be much appreciated. Everyone is welcome. Access, including wheelchairs, is via a gated drive across a field. Please be aware it can be muddy.
