Park and meet at Cookley Green behind the bus shelter along the B481, RG9 6EN (additional parking along nearby Church Lane, road leading to Swyncombe).
Gently undulating countryside with one steep hill starting with views of Swyncombe House, then heading towards Nettlebed. We have a steepish ascent up to Maidensgrove Common and along to Russells Water. Total ascent 506 ft and 5.5 miles.
