Organised Walk – Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire

Meet at the Link Road car park, Link Road, Great Missenden  HP16 9AE. This 6 mile walk will provide one of the last opportunities to see the Misbourne Valley before it changes forever because of the HS2 project.  Climbing out of the valley towards Ballinger before heading towards The Lee and Hunts Green. The route then drops down to cross the main road before returning to Great Missenden. Around 150m of ascent. Plenty of pubs and cafes available after the walk.…

The Hertfordshire Conservation Volunteers are one of the Chiltern Society's 'roving' wildlife conservation groups. We work in West Herts and parts of Bucks and Beds, on the 2nd Wednesday and the last Sunday in each month. Our programme has as much variety, of site, work, and habitat as possible, but with repeat visits to the most worthwhile places.
