Meet at Hodgemoor Woods car park, Botterells Lane, HP7 0JX, east of the A355 from Amersham to Beaconsfield.  This 5.5 mile walk heads south through Hodgemoor Woods to Seer Green  then explores the downland and woods west of Seer Green before continuing along a fine stretch of the Chiltern Way, west of Chalfont St. Giles.  Returning to the start via the access road to the car park.  8 stiles, 3 modest climbs.  May be muddy in places. The Wendover Woods Conservation Group, working in partnership with the Forestry Commission, BBOWT, and other conservation groups in the Chilterns, carry out a wide range of woodland conservation tasks from tree planting to woodland thinning and footpath enhancement to invasive species management to help enhance the conservation value and access opportunities on a wide range of sites.   Meeting place: Various - to be confirmed New volunteers welcome.
