Organised Walk – Northchurch, Hertfordshire

Meet at the small NT car park on the B4506, entrance opposite side of road to Hill Farm, New Road,  Northchurch Common HP4 1LS. Two more parking areas are located a short distance away on either side of the road towards the Ashridge Estate. The walk of just over 6 miles crosses Northchurch Common, parts of Ashridge Estate, Berkhamsted Common and returns via Alpine Meadow Nature Reserve. Two stiles and one moderate climb. An event every 2 weeks that begins at 10:00am on Wednesday, repeating until December 12, 2018

The Hertfordshire Conservation Volunteers are one of the Chiltern Society's 'roving' wildlife conservation groups. We work in West Herts and parts of Bucks and Beds, on the 2nd Wednesday and the last Sunday in each month. Our programme has as much variety, of site, work, and habitat as possible, but with repeat visits to the most worthwhile places. Organised Walk – Aston Rowant, Oxfordshire

Meet at Aston Rowant BBOWT car park , near HP14 3YL, situated to the W of the minor road from Stokenchurch mast to Christmas Common (just N of M25).  This 6.3 mile walk passes through Aston Wood and descends Aston Hill to reach the Ridgeway before climbing Bald Hill. Family Bushcraft – Fire Craft & Survival Shelters
