We organise a popular programme of walks throughout the year, designed to improve both physical and mental health. Anyone is welcome to join us on our half-day walks, longer walks or occasional special interest walks.

Organised Walk – Cholesbury, Buckinghamshire

January 29 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Walk from the Full Moon Pub at Cholesbury, HP5 2UH.  A fairly level, 5.5 mile walk with few stiles, visiting Iron Age Fort, Grim's Ditch, fascinating churches, Manor House. a moat and a windmill. Also a chance of seeing dinosaurs. Explorer 181 GR 935069 CS Map 8

Organised Walk – – Great Kingshill, High Wycombe

Organised Walk – Watlington Hill, Oxfordshire

February 5 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Meet at the National Trust Watlington Hill car park OX49 5HS. An undulating  6 mile walk with chalk grassland, woodlands and views.  Expect to see red kiites soaring over the hills.  Lunch can be obtained at the nearby Fox and Hounds. Explorer 171 GR  709935 CS Map 9

Organised Walk – Ivinghoe, Buckinghamshire

Meet in Pitstone Hill car park, HP23 5RX (off road between Ivinghoe and Aldbury).  Walk to Ivinghoe  Beacon , Ward Hurst Farm, Duncombe Farm, Aldbury Nowers and return via The Ridgeway Path. About 6 miles with no stiles. Explorer 181 GR 955149 CS Map 19

Organised Walk – Lacey Green, Buckinghamshire

February 12 @ 10:30 am - 1:00 pm

Meet at The Whip Inn, Pink Road, Lacey  Green  HP27 0PG. This 6 mile walk includes a section of the Chiltern Way and goes past Hampden House, then crosses Hampden Common before returning to the pub for some well earned refreshment. Organised Walk – Ashridge, Hertfordshire

Meet by the National Trust Visitor Centre, Ashridge  HP4 1LT for  a  5 mile walk taking in the Ramblers Walk and parts of the Ashridge Boundary Walk. A mixture of hard paths and some that may be muddy. No stiles  and one small hill. Explorer 181 GR 971131 CS Map 19
