Middle Assendon, Oxon/Bucks

Meet and park in the lay-by on the B480 (near the turning for Fawley Bottom Lane), in Middle Assendon village (nr Henley), RG9 6AU. Unfortunately the Rainbow PH has closed, so alternate lunch arrangements will need to be found.

The walk is a little over five miles, starting with a steady climb to Coxlease Farm, after which the walk levels out before heading downhill. A sharp uphill section followed by a steep downhill drop completes the walk. A number of stiles, some in poor condition.
