Cookham Dean, Berks

Meet outside The Jolly Farmer PH, Church Road, Cookham Dean, SL6 9PD. There is a small car park at the pub if lunching there, otherwise park roadside near the pub or around the churchyard. Where possible, car sharing is appreciated.

A stile-free 5.7 mile walk, around and across Winter Hill with good views down to the River Thames. On the return we pass through Kings Coppice Farm providing viewing of the Christmas turkeys. Total ascent of 550 feet with one steep’ish uphill.
