Meet outside the Old Swan PH, 122 Old Amersham High Street, HP7 0ED. Plenty of free street parking in the High Street.
A 5.8 mile walk from the High Street towards Shardeloes Park and up to Mop End, through Penn Woods to the Chiltern Heritage Trail into Little Missenden, and back along The South Bucks Way to Old Amersham. Gentle walking and some splendid views and part of the Chiltern Heritage Trail – a gem of a circular walk with just 250 feet of elevation – recommended.
Refreshments aplenty in the old town’s pubs, café’s & restaurants.
