Meet at The Red Lion PH, Thame Road, Longwick, HP27 9SG. Park in the pub car park if lunching (pre-order before departure), otherwise adjacent in Chestnut Way.
A new 6-mile flat route from Longwick across open farm fields, country lanes and a purpose made trail. Some stiles as paths crossing farmland. The route sets off along Swans Way/Midshires Way to meet up with the Phoenix Trail, then across fields to the hamlet of Ilmer and the beautiful local church of St Peter’s , one of the oldest churches in the Oxford diocese. Returning along country lanes and part of the Outer Aylesbury Ring.
