North Chiltern Trail

A very special place

Building on the success of the Chiltern Way, we decided to create a 42 mile circular walking route in the North Chilterns, taking you through some of the most delightful countryside of Bedfordshire and North Hertfordshire. With breathtaking views and outstanding landscapes, an abundance of wildlife and some intriguing archaeology, we guarantee that the North Chiltern Trail will not disappoint.

The trail can be divided into 9 sections, making it ideal to walk over a series of days. As a bonus, the route is handsomely provided with a fine range of country pubs and tea shops – essential refreshing pit stops along the way!
