Restoring the unique biodiversity of our commons
With nature on commons across the Chilterns threatened as traditional forms of management decline, from changes of use, development, and of course, climate change, our new reserve at Northend, near Turville, will help us achieve our vision of building a sustainable future for the Chilterns.
Donated by a local family, the 31 acre common gives us huge potential to enhance disappearing biodiversity that has adapted to thrive on the patchwork of habitats that commons provide.
But we can’t protect these spaces without supporters like you – the loyal people of the Chilterns.
Can you help restore Northend Common for wildlife and for people?

Establishing a diverse woodland

Creating more woodland rides and glades for wildlife
3
Connecting people with nature
