Meet every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month from 10am-1pm
The Wendover Woods Conservation Group, working in partnership with the Forestry Commission, BBOWT, and other conservation groups in the Chilterns, carry out a wide range of woodland conservation tasks from tree planting to woodland thinning and footpath enhancement to invasive species management to help enhance the conservation value and access opportunities on a wide range of sites.

Central Chilterns Conservation Volunteers
Meet on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month 10am-1pm
The CCCV are one of the Chiltern Society’s ‘roving’ wildlife conservation groups and we work across the Central Chilterns. Our programme has as much variety, of site, work, and habitat as possible, working across woodland, grasslands and wetland habitat.

Marlow Common Conservation Volunteers

Maintaining the Common by clearing paths, tending the glades and carrying out all necessary maintenance and safety work.

Whiteleaf & Brush Hill Conservation Group
Meets every 1st Thursday of the month 10am-1pm
The Whiteleaf and Brush Hill Conservation Group meet regularly to maintain and protect these two wonderful nature reserves and sites of important archaeological features. The group carries out a wide range of work from preserving the iconic Whiteleaf Cross to restoring and maintaining the diverse chalk grassland and woodland areas. Tasks include scrub clearance, fencing repairs, wildlife monitoring, access improvements and woodland thinning.

Ewelme Watercress Beds Conservation Volunteers
Workdays are held on the 1st Saturday and 3rd Wednesday of each month 9.30am-12.30pm
Ewelme Watercress Beds Conservation Group carry out a wide range of tasks to help enhance the conservation value of this unique Local Nature Reserve – a haven for a wide variety of rare and interesting wildlife. New volunteers are always welcome – all equipment and training is provided but tasks often involve working in shallow water so please bring your wellies! North Chilterns Conservation Volunteers
Meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month 10am-1pm
North Chilterns Conservation Volunteers are one of the Chiltern Society’s ‘roving’ wildlife conservation groups. We work on a variety of wildlife sites across the North Chilterns supporting our partners in practical habitat management works from grassland and woodland management to invasive species control and access improvements. Training, tools and equipment is provided and all welcome so please get in touch if you would like come along or find out a bit more.

North Chilterns Hockeridge & Pancake Woods Conservation Volunteers
Meet one Friday of each month (not spring/summer) 10am-1pm
The Hockeridge & Pancake Woods Conservation Group are working in partnership with the Royal Forestry Society to organise conservation work parties to support the management of the wood. Activities include ride restoration, tree planting, pond clearance, footpath improvements and invasive species management to help enhance the conservation value and access opportunities throughout this interesting and diverse woodland.

Kingwood Common Conservation Volunteers
Meet one Thursday and one Saturday of each month 10am-1pm
The Kingwood Common Conservation Volunteers meet regularly to maintain and protect this interesting and ecologically important Common. The main task of the group is to restore and maintain the network of open glades that support a wide range of important heathland and acid grassland species. There is a varied work programme including bracken and bramble clearance, woodland thinning, wildlife monitoring and footpath and bridleway improvements.
