Volunteers Needed – Roadshow Marshals 2022

The Chiltern Society has a number of ways of getting its message across to people…a fantastic magazine, a brilliantly-designed and accessible website, social media among others and a summer Roadshow.

The Roadshow travels across the Chilterns and takes part in a number of big events such as garden parties, agricultural shows, cycling celebrations and canal festivals. These are all well-attended by happy groups of people, families and folks of all ages.

The Society sets-up a gazebo over a table which displays information about its activities, its projects and what a visitors will gain from membership and how they can help retain everything that’s special about the Chilterns. There’s usually a fun test or questionnaire to get visitors in a relaxed frame of mind, some small freebies for the younger-ones and the chance to have a pleasant chat about the challenges facing all of us today and  how the Chiltern Society can help.

Would you be interested in helping? Just a few hours during half-a-dozen summer weekends between May and October is the commitment and you get free entry to all these great events! Dates confirmed:
