Wendover Dean Viaduct

The viaduct will be 500 metres long and up to 17 metres high. It will take two years to construct and will be assembled from sections made off site and transported along the haul road. Durham Farm will be demolished. A large section of the ancient woodland Jones’ Hill Wood has been removed. PRoWs Wen 36 (the Chiltern Way), Wen 39 and TLE 5 will be diverted during construction and then reinstated under the viaduct along their original routes. The construction compound will be in place for two years.
