Bowood Lane overbridge & Jones’ Hill Wood
Bowood Lane will be closed for two years and then realigned across the overbridge. PRoW Wen 37/1 – TLE 3/1 will be diverted to the north for the same period and then be reinstated over the bridge. This footpath will serve as a temporary diversion route for the Chiltern Way. Jones’ Hill Wood is a designated ancient woodland and will be partially destroyed. There will be extensive new tree planting on farmland adjacent to Bowood Lane / King’s Lane.
