Organised Walk – Kingston Blount, Oxfordshire

The Hertfordshire Conservation Volunteers are one of the Chiltern Society's 'roving' wildlife conservation groups. We work in West Herts and parts of Bucks and Beds, on the 2nd Wednesday and the last Sunday in each month. Our programme has as much variety, of site, work, and habitat as possible, but with repeat visits to the most worthwhile places. Introduction to ViewRanger

ViewRanger is an exciting app that allows you to access trails and maps from your phone or tablet.  The Chiltern Society has many routes available to download and you are invited to join us for a day of expert training on how to use the app followed by a walk to test out your new skills.  Refreshments will be provided but please bring your own packed lunch.

The Wendover Woods Conservation Group, working in partnership with the Forestry Commission, BBOWT, and other conservation groups in the Chilterns, carry out a wide range of woodland conservation tasks from tree planting to woodland thinning and footpath enhancement to invasive species management to help enhance the conservation value and access opportunities on a wide range of sites.   Meeting place: Various - to be confirmed New volunteers welcome.
