Meet and park at the front of Studley Green Garden Centre, HP14 3UX (on the A40 between Piddington and Stokenchurch). A hilly but not steep 5.2 mile walk from Studley Green to St Mary’s Radnage via Beacons Bottom. We will pause at St Mary's Church to see the restored wall paintings. The access from the top end of Peter's Lane (via Gt Hampden) should be fine, and the car park will be open. Greatmoor Energy from Waste takes household non-recyclable waste from throughout Buckinghamshire, diverts it from landfill and uses it to generate enough electricity to power 18% of the homes in the county. This visit will begin with a presentation in Greatmoor’s fully accessible Visitor Centre, which is designed to promote and inform visitors about the benefits of using waste to produce renewable energy, as well as educating about waste reduction, reuse and recycling. A 6 mile scenic walk that takes in parts of the Icknield Way and Chiltern Way as well as woodland paths.
