Organised Walk – Redbourn, Hertfordshire

Meet at the cricket pavilion car park, Redbourn   Common,  Redbourn, AL3 7DB, for a 5 mile walk on both sides of the Ver Valley to Redbournbury Mill and Hammonds End Farm. Enjoy good views. Chiltern Society Grangelands Conservation Group

An event every month that begins at 10:00 am on day Third of the month, repeating until November 19, 2020

The Grangelands conservation group, working in partnership with BBOWT, carry out a range of conservation activities to manage this important SSSI chalk grassland site. Conservation tasks include scrub clearance, fencing repairs, wildlife monitoring, access improvements and invasive species management which help enhance the conservation and archaeological value of the site. The group meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month and work from 10am to 1pm. New volunteers are always welcome. For more information, please contact the Chiltern Society office.

The Captain’s Wood & Chesham Bois Conservation Group, working in partnership with a number of interested parties is striving to evolve and implement a woodland management plan to enhance this popular beech wood on the outskirts of Chesham to ensure its long term survival as a local nature reserve and well-loved resource.
