

Two Villages Walk – Historical Highlights of Seer Green and Jordans (Sat 24th Sept, 10.30am-3.30pm)

A conducted tour, organised by the Seer Green & Jordans Society, of the ancient “Cherry Pie Village” of Seer Green and the famous Quaker village of Jordans, incorporating extensive local research from the Our Living Village project undertaken recently by the Seer Green & Jordans Society in partnership with the Chiltern Society.
This 3.5 miles walk will include the churches, pubs, ancient buildings and local landmarks of Seer Green, followed by an introduction to the renowned Jordans village centre, the Mayflower Barn (outside only), the world-famous Quaker Meeting House and Crutches Wood.
The walk will start at 10.30am but you might wish to consider arriving a bit earlier and having breakfast at The Jolly Cricketer public house just next to the church. There will also be a lunch break on Jordans Village Green, please bring your own picnic.
All events will comply with government guidelines on Covid-19, applicable at the time. If any Covid-19 outbreaks occur, or new restrictions are imposed, the event will be cancelled and a full refund given.
