Join renowned storyteller Eleanor Buchan as she leads you on a journey into the mysterious, intriguing and downright scandalous true stories hidden beneath the headstones of Rectory Lane Cemetery, Berkhamsted. At this workshop you will not only experience an intimate, promenade performance woven through the gravestones, but you’ll also have a chance to go behind the scenes of the story-making process and to find out how history can be re-made through live performance.
This performance will be followed by a discussion-based workshop on ‘The Presence of the Past’: an opportunity to meet the creative and production team behind ‘Memento Mori’ and to delve more deeply into the fascinating original research that inspired the performance.
