Meet at Verulamium Museum Car Park (£3.80), St Michael’s Street, St Albans, AL3 4SW.
A 5.6 mile walk starting across parkland with Cathedral views followed by farmland (may be muddy) to reach a main road section with wide verge, before returning through the Gorhambury Estate passing the Elizabethan and 18th Century mansions. Total ascent of 365ft and no stiles.
