Meet/park at The Royal Standard of England PH, Brindle Lane, Forty Green, nr. Beaconsfield, HP9 1XT.

Starting from England’s oldest free house, a 5.8 mile figure-of-eight walk heading up to Penn, across Wycombe Heights golf course then back towards the pub before a loop through Roundhead Wood and Hogback Wood. Option for a shorter walk by removing the loop.  The walk includes at least half a dozen stiles, some of which may prove a challenge.

On a clear day there is the possibility to see as far as Windsor Castle,  and also passing a commemorative plaque to a WW2 plane crash.
