A varied walk of 5.5 miles beginning from Whitchurch Hill. The route at first heads westwards on the Chiltern dip slope before dropping down to the Thames at the Hartslock Nature Reserve, and returning via the Thames Path and Whitchurch-on-Thames with one long hill climb. Good views with a total ascent of 590 ft and no stiles.

Park and meet on the south side of the Whitchurch Hill recreation park (turn off from the B 471, just south of St John The Baptist church), RG8 7PA.
