Have fun in the woods, learning about campfires, baking bread, shelter building and other such bushcraft activity that will help connect your family more closely with nature. Led by David Willis, this woodland experience is aimed at families with younger children (there is no minimum age). The kettle will be simmering on the campfire, so we will have refreshments including hot chocolate and tasty bread, that you have baked, to eat. Bring a small picnic lunch or perhaps something simple for your children to cook on sticks over the campfire!
This event will be run in Captains Wood, a lovely broadleaved woodland on the outskirts of Chesham, our classroom will be under a large tarpaulin with a central campfire, the kettle will be gently simmering, so we can have refreshments when we want them. It is being led by David Willis who loves being out doors close to nature, sharing and teaching his skills. He provides fun, informative and educational courses, for all ages, abilities and needs.
