The Boxmoor Trust – Visit and Activities
Visit The Boxmoor Trust for an afternoon of guided walks and activities. The visit will be based at Gadespring, the old watercress beds, which lie between the Grand Union Canal and the River Bulbourne.
Activities will include trying your hand at pond-dipping, using the bird hide, joining a guided walk along the moor to view the completed award-winning river channel restoration project, along with learning all about about the long history of the Trust and how the 500 acres of Trust land are being used to benefit the local community.
The walk is flat with no hill, so suitable for everyone. You will also receive a copy of The Boxmoor Trust information leaflet to take away.
N.B. We will divide those attending into groups of 6, so if you would like to stay with friends or family please book at the same time to make sure you are allocated to the same group.
All events will comply with government guidelines on Covid-19, applicable at the time. If any Covid-19 outbreaks occur, or new restrictions are imposed, the event will be cancelled and a full refund given.
By purchasing a ticket/s for this event, you are agreeing to our Terms and Conditions.
