Tim says

“The main National Trails get a lot of publicity, and some more local trails are underappreciated as a result. The Chiltern Way has been specifically designed to take in the most beautiful spots in the area, and unlike a lot of the National Trails, it is circular route that allows people to take in and enjoy a lot more of the countryside rather than passing straight through. The other reason I’m undertaking the challenge is to highlight the great work the Chiltern Society does in the area. Running on the pathway that the Chiltern Society designed, and that runs through a number of it’s most beautiful nature reserves will be a great way to publicise the hard work their volunteers do to help the public enjoy the countryside.”
